Christmas Party

Dear parents,

Students enjoyed their Christmas Party. Students played pin the nose on the snowman and Christmas Bingo. They created a sleight bell bracelet, just like in Polar Express. They cut out a snowflake and decorated it with glitter!  They practiced skip counting using a connect the dot Christmas Coloring Worksheet . They enjoyed drinking hot chocolate as they watched the Polar Express.

Advent Service

Dear parents,

Students participated in advent services at The Academy. Each week of advent, one student added the flame to one the candles on the advent wreath. They enjoyed singing and praying to God.

Scientist of the Week- Snow

Dear parents,

Victoria S. was the Scientist of the week. She explained why and how we use salt to melt the ice in the winter. The students loved hearing about this and touching the ice! Thanks Victoria S.!

First Reconciliation

Dear parents,

Nico and Chase made their First Reconciliation. They have practiced very hard with Ms. Kim and memorized the Act of Contrition. Ms. Kim and I thought they did an excellent job!
