Literacy Station Update

Students are more confident at their work stations.

Kindergarten Students at Big Book identify words that start with a particular letter. They find the cat, because it starts with C. These books are enlarged books of the students' booklets (Cass, Oswald, Doc, etc). First and Second Graders use the Math Big Books to practice reading. In addition to reading the stories, students can count the number of syllables in a word or identify memory words within the books.

First and Second Graders will begin a game station soon. This station will have games that reiterate the skills taught within SuperKids. The first game is a matching game with our Memory Words. Kindergarten students will have a game station soon as well.
